Bikes for Refugees is a bicycle recycling scheme operating under the supervision of the Bicycle Institute of SA. It supplies second-hand bicycles free of charge to refugees and asylum seekers and sells accessories such as helmets at a low-cost. Bikes for Refugees also run free workshops about bicycle maintenance.
